Pandits who have been living outside the Kashmir Valley for three decades and have gained stability do not want to go back to Kashmir. During the Jagmohan era, decisions were taken without considering public sentiment. There should be no attempt to spoil social harmony by telling half-truths about that time. In a video message, Kachroo said that he had been detained since afternoon at the police station. The founder of the Yuvak Kranti Dal Dr Kumar Saptarshi presided over the event. He claimed that the film shows half-truths.
Ashok Kumar Pandey, the author of ‘Kashmirnama’, ‘Kashmir aur Kashmiri Pandit’ and ‘Usne Gandhi Ko Kyun Mara’ and many more, discussed the film with respect to various incidents in the past. Kothrud, 7th April 2022: A Kashmiri Pandit youth who went to submit an application to protest against an event organised against the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, was kept at the Kothrud police station along with his supporters.
